Our plush beanbag inserts are eco-friendly and filled with up to 50% recycled polystyrene. GREENGUARD Gold Certified to contribute to healthier indoor air, keeping you and your family safer. Plush beanbag inserts are filled with polystyrene beads which include up to 50% recycled polystyrene material. Recycled fill may contain a mix of dark and light beads within the insert. This is perfectly normal and safe. Inserts are not intended for use without a WIP cover.

About the material:

Rohi is a textile brand that was founded in 1933 by the designer Marga Hielle-Vatter and textile engineer Rolf Hielle, after whom rohi is named. Today it is a 3rd generation, family-run business. All of rohi textiles are manufactured in wool. Why? Because wool is MAGICAL. A few quick facts:

Wool is a naturally renewable raw material and contains no chemicals. This makes it naturally sustainable.

Easy to clean (liquids pill on top of the fiber rather than absorbing into the textile.)
Resilient! It keeps its form and is wrinkle-free; it can expand up to 30% of its length and return to its original shape.

Still not convinced? Pish posh! Rohi textiles have been used for nearly 100 years in the commercial sector in places like opera houses and airline seating. Many of their clients don’t need to return to them for anything for 40 years - and when they do, it’s only for an external aesthetic reason - the textile stays intact.

Yes. This is the textile brand our Soft Sculptures are made of. So have a pillow fight. Squeeze four people onto a beanbag. Or just snuggle up to one of our sculptures multiple times per day for 365 days in a row. We only ask that regardless of what you are doing, you have fun.

*What does all profits mean? Dictionary.com defines profit as "the monetary surplus left to a producer or employer after deducting wages, rent, cost of raw materials." So, for each WIP product, we total production costs, shipping costs (from our global suppliers to Los Angeles and from us to you), operating related costs and deduct that from the total sell price. What does that mean for you? Approximately 50% of your dollars will go to supporting abortion access and body autonomy.
